How I help

Leverage Strengths

“What will happen when we think about what is right with people rather than fixating on what is wrong with them?”

Discover and leverage your unique talents and those of each team member.

Team performance is ultimately driven by people. The challenge for many leaders is that people are different. What motivates one person may frustrate another. What comes naturally to one team member may require significant effort from someone else.

Developed by Gallup, CliftonStrengths helps people understand how they naturally think, build relationships, influence others, and get work done.

When leaders understand themselves and the people around them, communication improves, development becomes more targeted, and teams perform at a higher level.

People who focus on their strengths every day are…

  • 6 times more likely to be engaged in their jobs

  • More than 3 times as likely to say they have an excellent quality of life

  • Teams that focus on strengths every day, have a 12.5% increase in productivity

  • Teams that receive Strengths-Based feedback have 8.9% greater profitability

What is a strength?

A talent is a natural way of thinking, feeling, or behaving. A strength is created when we intentionally invest in that talent through knowledge, skills, and experience.

CliftonStrengths helps identify your natural talents so you can understand, develop, and apply them more effectively.

The goal is simple. Move from using your talents naturally, without much thought, to using them intentionally to improve your performance, relationships, leadership, and impact.

What will I learn?

  • What you naturally do best

  • How your strengths influence your behaviour

  • What your strengths contribute to a team

  • What your strengths need from others

  • How to better understand people who are different from you

  • How to apply strengths intentionally in work and life

How strengths fit within the Boss to Coach system,

Together they create a practical framework for improving performance and engagement over time.

How you can use strengths

UNDERSTAND YOURSELF

The first step is understanding what you naturally do best.

Strengths provides a practical language for your talents, motivations, and patterns of behaviour. Many people find it explains things they have always known about themselves but never had the words to describe.

UNDERSTAND
OTHERS

Different people bring different talents, perspectives, and approaches.

Understanding these differences helps improve communication, reduce frustration, build trust, and create stronger working relationships.

Whether working with a colleague, a team member, or a leadership team, strengths provides a practical way to appreciate and leverage what each person brings.

LEAD AND
DEVELOP OTHERS

The best leaders understand that every person is motivated differently.

Strengths helps managers move beyond a one-size-fits-all approach and create more effective coaching, development, and performance conversations.

Rather than trying to make everyone the same, leaders learn how to develop people based on what they naturally do best.

From insight to action

Most strengths programmes end with a report. My focus is helping leaders apply strengths in everyday conversations and team discussions.

Workshops and coaching are supported by practical tools, reports, and online resources designed to help strengths become part of everyday work. Because understanding strengths is useful.

Applying strengths is where performance changes.

WHAT MY CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY

“Jase was an upbeat, thorough, optimistic coach with super-fast analytical skills, quickly linking what was shared with our top 5 strengths, thus helping us understand how they work in life.  His friendly approach made it easy to talk about things that are not always easy to talk about.  Our time with him was both helpful and revealing.”

WHAT MY CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY

“You provided an excellent explanation of the CliftonStrengths approach. Clear and unambiguous answers were given to all questions. I am always looking for the inconsistencies and contradictions in these methods, but I left with a good understanding and belief in this approach to getting the most out of our people.”
