Boss to Coach Online Programme
A practical 6 course programme to help managers move from telling people what to do to coaching them to think, solve and perform.
Learn the five coaching conversations every manager needs to improve accountability, develop people and build stronger teams.
COURSE 1: Introduction to your CliftonStrengths profile
This course sets up a common language to help us understand each other, our strengths, and what makes teams tick. Plus, it dives deep into your CliftonStrengths profile, laying the groundwork for the next steps in courses 2-6.
COURSE 2: Conversation 1 Setting Expectations
Understand why expectations count, both in what we do (priorities) and how we do it (behaviors). Get clear on what we expect from ourselves and others and learn to grasp what others expect too.
COURSE 3: Conversation 2 Everyday Feedback
Boost your skills and confidence in giving and receiving feedback. Learn to spot when strengths shine or backfire, build trust, listen actively, and practice recognising the good in others while giving constructive feedback, all to make development an everyday habit.
COURSE 4: Conversation 3 Check in
Discover a tool that transforms 1-1 Check-Ins from task lists to meaningful coaching conversations, sharpening your focus on big priorities. Gain insight into your strengths and how to leverage them, and those of your teammates, to make deliver on what’s required.
COURSE 5: Conversation 4 Development Plan
Learn a process that crafts a practical development plan for you and those you coach, starting with how to frame the conversation and guiding you through six key steps. Finally we’ll use your strengths to boost your chances of success.
COURSE 6: Conversation 5 Progress Review
Grasp the value of progress reviews and how to make them meaningful for you and your team. Use a structured, employee-led approach that celebrates success, identifies roadblocks, and drives long-term growth, whether by amplifying what’s working or setting a plan to boost performance further.
