Lesson 1 Introduction to Your CliftonStrengths Profile Course Overview
The relationship between a manager and an employee is crucial for business success. Your job satisfaction is closely connected to your boss's competence, and happy employees directly impact customer satisfaction. The challenge lies in not being equipped with the skills to manage effectively. One of the key strategies is to adopt a coaching approach.
To support this transition, there are three enablers as outlined on Page 3 of your Blue Workbook:
THE WHY A Regular Team Health Check An ongoing measure of what matters most, so that your team care about their work
THE HOW Leverage Strengths Discover and leverage your unique talents and those of each team member
THE WHAT Move From Boss to Coach Switch from performance management to development with the 5 coaching conversations that drive increased levels of performance and results
This learning module talks to second strategy of understanding and leveraging yours and the strengths of your team.
Introduction to Strengths is designed for you to recognise your talents (your natural ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving), learn how you apply them, and create a plan that develops your talents into strengths. See more about Strengths.
This is the foundation course of the Boss to Coach Programme and introduces a language of people development. It is designed to be completed as a single module, and along with five modules for each of the Boss to Coach conversations; Setting Expectations, Everyday Feedback, Check In, Development Plan, Progress Review. See more about Boss to Coach.
