Using the Team Health Trends Report

Lesson 8 Using the Team Health Trends Report

This report shows how team experience is changing over time. Rather than focusing on a single snapshot, it helps you see direction: whether conditions are strengthening, holding steady, or coming under pressure.

What this report shows

This page compares two groups of questions over time:

  • Foundations the basics of how work gets done (clarity, tools, support, recognition, development)

  • Team and Growth higher-order experiences such as voice, relationships, purpose, and progress

  • Overall A third measure shows the overall trend based on the percentage of positive responses (Agree + Strongly Agree).

What to look for

  • Direction whether scores are rising, falling, or stable

  • Balance whether Foundations and Team & Growth are moving together or apart

  • The gap a widening gap between Foundations and Team & Growth can signal imbalance.

    • If Team & Growth is higher than Foundations, goodwill and relationships may be carrying the team despite weaker systems.

    • If Foundations is higher than Team & Growth, the basics may be in place but connection, energy, or ownership may be weaker.

Activity Interpreting the trend

  1. Start with the Leadership Insight Summary. Find the section “Team Health Trends Report Review.” This highlights where movement in the results is coming from.

  2. Now review the Team Health Trends. Look at:

    • Whether Foundations and Team & Growth are moving in the same direction

    • Whether one is declining faster than the other

    • Whether the overall trend reflects what you have been observing in the tea

  3. Capture one working assumption. Complete the sentence: “My current assumption about the direction of team health is…” Note in your Leadership Insight Summary under the heading Overall Review
