Lesson 10 Using the Patterns In How People Respond

This report shows how responses are distributed across the scale for each question.

Rather than only looking at averages, it helps you see how consistent or uneven responses are

For each question you will see the spread of responses from:

This helps identify patterns that summary scores can hide.

Polarisation strong disagreement and strong agreement appearing together
Neutral‑heavy responses uncertainty or lack of clarity
Strength of agreement whether positive scores come from strong or moderate agreement

Activity Understanding the response patterns

Start with the Leadership Insight Summary. Find the section “Response Patterns Report Review”. This highlights where patterns in responses may be influencing the results.
Return to the Patterns In How People Respond report. Look at:
- Questions where responses are split
- Questions with a large number of neutral responses
- Questions where agreement appears strong or weak
Capture one working assumption. Complete the sentence: “One pattern I notice in how people responded is…” Note in your Leadership Insight Summary under the heading Overall Review.
